24. What Happened Yesterday?!

As we leave the office, with Katty holding my hand, I feel uncomfortable. I can see that everyone is judging me for openly showing that I'm in a new relationship when I haven't ended the previous one yet. I am aware that I look like a despicable cheater, while Katty is the other woman who ruined a marriage. And they surely feel sorry for Amy, the most innocent of all. But they will have to get used to it, because from now on, this is how things will be. I am in another relationship, and soon this will stop causing them so much scandal.
I see my girlfriend walking very happily beside me. She is very pleased that I am showing her to the world. But I won't think about what people say anymore. We can never fully satisfy people's expectations.
