When Amelia finishes speaking, I am left speechless. In her eyes, I can see determination and firmness. It is now that I realize the magnitude of the fracture I caused in our relationship. It seems there is nothing I can do to convince her to take me back, and besides, I have nothing to offer her as long as I haven't ended my relationship with Katty. I started acting like a lovesick teenager at the worst possible time. I'm not eighteen anymore, yet I behaved like someone who isn't my age. I should have stopped that girl from advancing; all I needed was a bit of willpower to overcome a temptation, but instead, I fell head over heels.
