Chapter 16: [Daryl's POV] I stood rooted to the spot. Ciara had left my side when she followed Damon out the door to see my mother. I wondered why Mother wanted to see her and what she would say to her. But what unsettled me more was the fact that I couldn't get Ciara out of my mind.
