However, he came out of our mother's womb minutes before me, so I had to give the throne up. I burned with jealousy on the day of his coronation, but I had to keep it together. I had to tread carefully, or I'd be dead. My brother wasn't ambitious like I was. He wanted things as they were ... He wanted peace with other supernaturals, but war was inevitable as we were natural enemies. Soon, someone would strike, and I wanted to be the first to do so.
