My woman entered the kitchen and wrapped her arms around me from behind me. I turned and kissed her soft lips.
" How was your day?" I asked,
" Rough, but I did my best. I see you're recovering well," she cupped my face. I frowned and opened my mouth to protest her earlier actions, but she kissed me.
" Ellis, it's our pack. And I want to be involved in it," she said sternly. I was pleased she wanted to be more involved.
" My men said you ordered them around and handled the situation like a true boss, Luna," I beamed.
She looked away, shy. She went to her aunt, kissing her cheek.
" Thank you for taking care of them," she said, looking at me, " Where are the kids?"
" They are-" Before I could answer, the twins strolled to her, hugging her.
