“You should have seen the way he hugged her and kissed her. I am telling you Lucas is into her. I have never seen him so engrossed in one girl for two weeks straight. And Abigail has her whole heart.” A friend of Stephanie reported back to her that morning as she walked to class.
“Are you sure?” Stephanie asked with a trace of jealousy in her voice.
She still had feelings for Lucas despite him breaking up with her a few months into dating her. Their relationship was top tier and not just that, it was the talk of the school. And everyone else was rooting for them to stay together, but we both know Lucas is not for keeps. Lucas was not used to dating one girl for a whole semester. So, as soon as he started getting bored of Stephanie, he broke up with her.
