After extensive care with the doctors for a week, Stephanie was finally allowed to go home but under the care of one of the qualified nurses who was going to take care of her until she could get back on her feet.
She stayed in her room the whole time and was not ready to talk to anyone and didn't go to school well because she was afraid of other students asking her about what happened. Abby, however, made sure she was comfortable before she left the house for Lucas’ house a week later after they rescheduled their meeting.
