While everything was going well for everyone, Jake had a hard time coping with his parents' messy divorce. His father wanted custody of him, while he had agreed to let go of the companies, since they didn’t even belong to his wife in the first place, but Jake was over it. He was eighteen and had all the right to choose whoever he wanted to live with, and that was his mom.
As soon as he got home, he went straight to his room, changed, and joined his mom in the living room.
