My head was pounding as I came to. I opened and closed my eyes several times, but it didn't matter. Open or closed, it was just as dark. Closing my eyes, I tried to focus my ears, but there was no sound. I wasn't sure if that was a good sign or not. But for now, I would take it as a good thing. Carefully I set up and started searching myself. My phone had been in my back pocket, but whoever had taken me had taken it. It was no longer there. They had also removed my smartwatch that went with my phone but had left a necklace I had been wearing on. So they weren't outright stealing everything from me.
