Dance With Me

“Excuse me?” Dimi stared at Kostas Masalis as if he’d grown a second head and she considered slicing both of them off. Miklos nodded as he tossed back another shot of vodka, “you are right of course, my friend. Dimitra has been desperate to get away from me. She has been plotting and planning to destroy me. It wouldn’t be surprising if she went so far as to make a deal with one of the agents, she is friends with.” He turned to Kostas, “did you know, they have been trying to hire her for years. Maybe she’s finally agreed to work for them.” Dimi felt Magda shift uncomfortably beside her and then whimper. Her drunken friend was frightened, and it had everything to do with them being cornered by Miklos and his friend. “Enough.” She put her hand on Magda’s knee. “You’re upsetting my friend.”
