Dani: Ryan gently pulled the covers over me, his hands warm and reassuring. I shivered slightly, not from the cold but from the unease that had settled deep inside me. The room felt too quiet and still, and I couldn't shake the sensation of being watched. It was a feeling that had been growing all evening, creeping in ever since I saw that damn box. "Can you stay with me?" I asked softly, my voice a little more fragile than I intended. I looked at the couch where he had left blankets and pillows, and I couldn't bear the thought of him being so far away from me. Ryan hesitated for a second, his eyes softening as he nodded.
