"Where are you going?" My mother asked me.
I blinked at her, trying to think of what to tell her. But it was as if I could not think of anything to say at that moment. My mind was completely blank.
"I..."
"Are you going to talk to Stella? But she's that way" my mother pointed out Stella for me but she was the farthest thing on my mind right now. I could not be bothered with her.
"I...."
She followed my eyes and let out a low gasp when she saw that I was looking at Axl and her kids.
"Ah...that's Axl. Don't you think that there's someone really familiar with her kids?" My mother gave me a knowing look as she asked me this.
My mother was a really smart woman. And I knew that there was not much that I could hide from her. She was always going to find out.
"What do you mean?" I ask
