In Avetmore palace, Queen Emily was still fuming about her possessions being sold to pay the workers. She blamed Meryln and her family for it. She believed that Scot would not have been so harsh if Meryln, his brother and uncle were not involved. It did no help that her mother-in-law gloated over her every chance she got and her friend Theo kept on fuelling her hatred for Meryln and her family.
