Ardyn's attention sways from his minuscule task of restocking condoms to where Damian is standing behind the front register. Gone is the stony expression shrouding his attractively dark features, replaced by a reserved smile as he speaks privately to his lover. One would never assume the turmoil he endured this past week. Ardyn himself is left wondering what could've possibly upset the two men to such an extent.
The problem seems well in the past. Emery stands beside Damian and gazes at him with a loving smile that Ardyn has come to think of as familiar. Emery, though Damian's age at 28, lacks Damian's impressive physique. He's a short man that even Ardyn looks down on.
"Made it out of the dog house," Ardyn snickers.
