Kyle’s phone buzzes, and he stops mid sentence, staring down at his phone while the blood drains from his face slowly. “What is it?” Sean snorts. He sits unbothered, glaring at Kyle before frowning as Kyle slowly lifts his gaze, locking it with Sean’s. “Boss wants to see us, immediately.” his voice shakes a tad, and my heart shoots up into my throat. “It’s probably something else,” I shrug, not knowing if Jared knows that they are in here, which is not a reason to fire them, is it?
