Bella spend the afternoon and much of the early evening with Marian and the other ladies of the court in Marian’s room talking about dresses and what tomorrow will be like while Marian was getting her dress fitted. Seamstresses were called and the ladies spend the day getting ready for tomorrow. They were even served their dinner in the room. Tables and chairs were brought in, and it became like a little sewing party.
Bella enjoyed herself so much. She watched Marian retell the story about the jewelry store for the hundredth time. And everyone had their own versions. It was something else. Madeline brought her the tea without question, and her night was perfect.
By the time she left Marian’s room for her own it was late. Madeline followed her there, and helped her get ready for bed.
