It was quiet... I got up walking towards the door of the nursery, where there were rows of sleeping angels wrapped in blankets. I walked in and over to the baby girl who looked at peace... It made me smiles, knowing that she was safe and sound. I knew... I wouldn't judge this child over her mother’s mistakes, she deserves to be loved and cared for, she will be apart of this pack and I will treat her with kindness. She started to wake and then small sniffles were heard indicating she was about to wake up, so I slid my hand under her supporting her neck then placed her in my arms comfortably. I slowly rocked her back to sleep and gazed down at her.
