It’s been three weeks, three long emotionless weeks, since my father gave his life for me. The police questioned me endlessly about what happened, the few men that were left standing from Archer’s security team’s assault are in jail awaiting their trials.
Jesse is also in jail, separate from the other members of Joseph’s gang for his safety as they now know it was him that led Archer to their location. There is talk of a deal for him as he helped rescue me, his attorney is pushing for a year prison sentence citing his age and that he was manipulated into helping the gang who took me.
