Bound werewolves usually aren’t allowed to shift or, at least, that’s what I hear from the werewolves at the bakery when they talk about it. They say humans have a harder time controlling their werewolves when they're in wolf form, so shifting is mostly forbidden unless absolutely necessary.
It's why I’ve never seen a human transform into a werewolf until today.
And it blew my mind.
It was both mesmerizing and slightly unsettling. Because it looked so painful. The sounds it made. The sight of a body just shaking uncontrollably.
