"You should probably get going. I'm sure the men are looking for you." I say, stepping away from him, getting myself ready for when he leaves.
"What do you mean? I'm not leaving." He replies.
"What do you mean? Of course you have to go. You're the head of the Scorpions. They need their King to keep them in order." Xavier laughs at my response, but only pulls me back to him.
"Have you not been listening to me? I'm not going anywhere."
"But..." I begin, but he cuts me off again.
"There's no buts. So instead of trying to get rid of me, start going over your plan."
"Won't the men get worried?" I ask.
"I will update them that I won't be coming back until this is finally over. I'm not in charge right now anyways. Everyone believes I'm dead. So Ryker has stepped up in my absence."
