Honestly, I wasn't surprised Sharron and Brad were trying something like getting CPS involved. I was a little surprised when Tiny introduced me to Jade, the social worker that took the case, as Snakes' old lady. Any fear of them trying to pay her off to get their way was instantly gone, and I couldn't help but want to laugh at them. But like the other day with Gloria, I took the higher road and had the kids show Jade inside. As a teacher, I have worked with social workers before and knew she would want to talk to the kids without me right there anyway. She would need to know I wasn't influencing them to say one thing or the other. So with both Sharron and Brad watching, I sent the kids in with Jade alone. Giving her a few minutes with them before I followed them inside.
