My work has never gotten in the way of my position as one of the club members' old ladies, even when dealing with a call involving a club member. In fact, any time a call came in that involved a member. I was the one given the case because of my connection with the club. Not that we get a lot of calls on any of the members. But they all knew if I came in and made a choice, their kids could not stay with them for whatever reason. I had the backing of Crow, the club president, and Digs, the club's vice president. I didn't have their kids removed because I was being a b***h. I did it because I saw something that put the kids in danger. However, that has only happened once in my time as a social worker. And after the member took the classes, we recommended his kids were returned to him.
