✰Trenton✰ The scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the kitchen as I leaned against the counter. I gripped my mug a little too tightly. The rich, bitter aroma usually helped clear my mind, but this morning, it wasn’t enough. Nothing was. I took a slow sip as I stared blankly at the floor. My thoughts were like a storm I couldn’t control. Everything felt like it was crumbling around me. Caitlin. The kidnappings. The killings. The pack’s safety. Nothing was making sense anymore.
