Chapter Nine-I can't Take My Eyes Off Her

1815 Words
Ambrose An alert goes off on my iPad. It is an alert of motion in the backyard. I know it is Sierra because I heard her leave her room and go downstairs. I reach for the pad and switch it to the cameras from outside. I see her swimming in my pool, and I watch her even though I know I shouldn’t be. I hate what has been going on with us today. I was so close to kissing and f*****g her right against the kitchen wall. If she hadn’t interrupted my night, I would have been more than satisfied. I wouldn’t be having s****l thoughts about her. I am glad she came back when she did, since she sensed danger. Thank God Wade and Jackson were with her. I set my iPad down and went out to the balcony that was attached to my bedroom. I rest on the rails and watch her. The woman infuriates me to no end, yet, at the same time, I can’t seem to take my eyes off her. It is all a little confusing. Sierra swims a few lengths and climbs out to sit on the edge. She rinses her hair out and rests back on her hands. Isn’t she cold? I lick my lips and run my eyes over her curves and legs. My c**k throbs in my joggers. She turns her head and looks up at me. She must have sensed me staring. Her eyes meet mine, and a smirk curls on her lips. I should pull away, but I don’t. Sierra stands and gives me a better view of her entire body in her bikini. f**k! She really does have the perfect body. She shakes her head, laughs and dives back into the water. I think I fancy a night swim. I change into some shorts and head down. I stand at the side of the pool she is swimming towards. Sierra comes up from the water, surprised to see me standing there. Her eyes start from my shorts and work them upwards to finally my face. “What are you doing down here?” “I don’t need a reason. It is my place and my pool. Why are you out here at this time?” I ask. “For a swim. I thought that was obvious since I am in the pool.” Every word drips with sarcasm. “No need to be a smartass, Sierra.” She shrugs. “Don’t ask stupid questions then.” “You mean like you did a moment ago?” She rolls her eyes and swims away. She is the only one with the guts to talk to me in such a way. Everyone else knows better. I dive in after her, soon catching up with her. I come up right behind her, and when she turns to swim back down, I block her path. My body traps hers. Sierra gasps, not expecting me to be so close. “You need to stop talking to me with such an attitude. I don’t like or appreciate it.” I snarl. She laughs. “Or what? What are you going to do?” I grab her face. “You don’t know what I am capable of, Sierra.” I expect her to look down or apologize. I should have known better. She doesn’t even flinch. She seems to be enjoying it. “Is that supposed to scare me? It doesn’t.” Sierra yanks my hand away from her face and pushes me away. “If you ever try that again, I will knee you so hard on the d**k you will need to take a trip to the hospital,” she warns. Sierra tries to swim away, but I bring her back to me. I slip my arm tightly around her. “Don’t test my patience, sweetness. I don’t take it lightly.” “Let go of me, or I swear I will do what I threatened.” She snaps. I smirk and refuse to let go of her, “Don’t pretend like you don’t like being this close to me.” “One, two, if I get to three, you know what will happen.” I let go of her because I don’t doubt she would do it. I would rather keep that part of my body intact, thank you. “That is what I thought.” She says slyly. “I think it is time for you to go to bed and get some rest,” I state firmly. “What am I, ten? I will go to bed when I want, not when I am told.” She rolls her eyes, swims away and climbs out of the pool. I watch her closely as she walks by to go inside. I need to keep it together. There has to be rules. Sierra needs to realize that I am in charge while she is under my protection, and she should listen to me. Her stubborn ass isn’t going to make it that easy. I wasn’t in the mood for a swim anymore. I climb out and follow her inside. The water trail tells me she has gone up to her room. The sound of the door slamming confirms it. She keeps doing that, the damn thing is going to come off its hinges. She has a temper, but I have always known that. I hopefully won’t see her again tonight. I will be stuck with her all day tomorrow. *** I wake in the middle of the night in need of a drink of water. I usually bring a bottle to bed with me, but I forgot. I groan, annoyed and climb out of bed. As I pass Sierra’s room, I hear buzzing and soft moans. I stop in my tracks. Is she getting herself off? Did everything that occurred between us tonight get to her that much? I should continue to walk, but I don’t. I can’t. It is like I have no control over my body. She moans louder. I turn around and peer through the small gap of the door. I can see her hips moving against whatever toy she is using. Her head falls back, and her hips seem to quicken. Fuck! I shouldn’t be watching, but I can’t peel my eyes away. She whimpers. She is close. My c**k is enjoying it too much by the way it is throbbing and hardening. Her back arches from the bed, and she cries out. Does she even care I am right next door to her? Obviously not. Though I am not sure how she would feel if she knew I was outside listening and watching her. She finishes and collapses flat against the bed. I can hear her loud breathing. She smiles, seeming happy after her release. I think I am going to need one or a cold shower. Sierra pulls the covers off and turns to sit on the edge of the bed. I walk away quietly but quickly before she catches me. What the hell is the woman doing to me? Whatever it is, it is f****d up and needs to stop. I rush downstairs, get my water and head straight back to my room before I do something stupid. Just when I thought I was safe, her voice stops me. “Ambrose, can you come here?” I sigh but turn to stand at her room door. I push it further open. Sierra is at the bottom of the bed, only in a tee. One of mine again. “What do you want? It is late. I want to go back to sleep.” I ask, annoyed. A sexy little smile grows on her lips, “Did you enjoy the show?” She knew I was watching her? I shrug it off, “I don’t know what you mean.” Sierra laughs and gets to her feet. She saunters over to me, an extra sway to her hips. She stops right in front of me. “If you came a few minutes earlier, you could have caught the entire show,” she purrs, biting on her lower lip. I swallow hard, trying my hardest to keep it together. Something that is easier said than done. “Stop.” I hiss. She shakes her head. “Why would I want to do that when I am having a blast getting under your skin?” she says smugly. “Sierra, I warned you, don’t push me.” I hiss. “Make me. Make me stop it, Ambrose,” she challenges. “Stop!” I yell. She jumps, not expecting my raised voice. I am trying so f*****g hard not to lose my temper. I would never physically hurt her. I don’t raise my hand to women, but I can be a bastard with my words and actions if someone pushes me too hard. I expect her to back away, but she doesn’t. “No!” she yells back. I close my eyes, take a few deep breaths and try to calm down. I open my eyes and look down at her. “Why do you insist on pushing me?” “Because I am bored, and it is so easy to do.” She smirks. When she smirks, something snaps in me. I spin us around, and like earlier, I press her back hard to the wall. I pin her against it with my hips and her hands above her head. She gasps and continues to smirk. “You are getting on my last nerve, Sierra.” I breathe out. She laughs loudly. “I think your c**k growing against me tells a different story.” I was hoping she wouldn’t have noticed. Her eyes meet mine in an intense stare. They are darker than usual, and her cheeks are flushed. I am not the only one aroused. Before I can stop myself, I dip my head down and crash my lips to hers. I was not expecting them to feel this good. Sierra moans, kissing back without hesitation. It becomes heated quickly. Our lips move in perfect sync. I groan into it, and her nails dig into my hands. Why is this kiss so damn hot? I haven’t even thought about kissing her until recently. My senses soon come back. I abruptly pull away from the kiss and her. Sierra keeps her place against the wall, panting loudly. “Stay the f**k out of my way, Sierra,” I snap, walking away and slam her bedroom door behind me. I head to my bedroom and go straight for a cold shower. I can’t lose control like that again, not around Sierra. I can’t allow her to distract me. I need to be already while she is under my protection. This is not supposed to be part of me taking care of her.
