Silent Promises
(Andy’s POV)
I wanted to tell her everything. Every damn thing. About my father, about Franco, about Ruby. About how none of this was what I had chosen, but what I had been forced into to keep the people I loved safe. But I couldn’t. Not yet. I believed I could protect her and Arya if I just played my cards right.
If only Esha would believe me, trust me.
I loved her. God, how I loved her. And the thought of losing her again made me feel like I was free-falling into an abyss. I thought I’d lost my chance to tell her that, to make her understand how much she meant to me. But now, I had the chance. I couldn’t let it slip through my fingers.
Esha and Arya were mine, my family. And I wasn’t about to let anything—or anyone—take them from me.
