I clutched the side of the yacht, biting back every word I wanted to hurl at Cassandra. She’d practically cornered me into this situation, on a yacht that wasn’t just any yacht, but Ruby Reign’s yacht. I felt the sting of betrayal gnawing at me with each passing wave, the sea breeze doing nothing to cool the anger simmering just beneath the surface.
