Lessons and Warnings
(Esha’s POV)
The next day, campus felt like a minefield. Every step I took felt heavier, my mind swirling with a mix of nerves and uncertainty. Andy was still nowhere to be found—not in class, not at any of his usual hangouts. He had vanished without a word, leaving me alone with the memory of that kiss. It was frustrating, confusing, and exhausting.
What was I supposed to make of that moment? Was it a mistake? Did it mean anything? Or was it just another way for Andy to play with my head?
I tried to distract myself with my coursework, focusing on readings and assignments, but nothing seemed to stick. My thoughts drifted constantly, circling back to him. If Andy were here, I’d at least have a chance to confront him, to demand some kind of explanation.
