Dangerous
(Esha’s POV)
The night air was crisp as I waited outside the library, shivering slightly as I hugged my arms to myself. I checked my phone again, waiting for a message from Andy. He was supposed to meet me here so we could go grab dinner together. I scrolled through our messages, smiling as I read his last text. Just thinking about him made me feel warm inside, a comfort that chased away most of the tension I’d been feeling all day.
But even as I stood there, waiting for him, I couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching me. It was a feeling I hadn’t been able to get rid of for days, like a shadow lurking just out of sight. I forced myself to stay calm, to remind myself that I was safe, that Andy would be here any moment.
