"Hey Zade can you meet me in the stable please" I asked sending Zade a link. Within a couple of minutes Zade was walking through the stable door. I was standing by one of the stalls petting a horse when he came in. "What is wrong" he asked worried. I never linked him to meet me because he usually was always with me. "Well, I wanted to talk to you. I want to know what you are thinking about having your mother here for her to face the charges. Are you ok?" I asked. We never really had a very serious conversation like this before and I was struggling on how to ask. He stared at me for a moment with a blank expression on his face. "Honestly I have tried not to think about her or what she did to you. When the royal army came up I knew something was up, but you were with the Alpha and I didn't want to bother you and ask if you knew. Then I saw the cells. Strange thing was I didn't even think about how I felt, I was more worried about how you would do seeing her this close to you. I didn't think you knew considering that you were not there, and it seemed that is why the Alpha took you for a walk to distract you" He explained. I could tell immediately that he did not like the idea of them trying to hide something from me like that. "Yes, Alpha Lucas took me to go see a memorial wall that he built when I disappeared. While we were there he told me what was going on and why. Then when I got back, I talked with Queen Isabella, my grandmother about Jade and Zillow and then I asked you to meet me. " "Are they ok! Jade and Zillow?" Zade asked quickly worried about them. "Well in short, Jade hates Lilly and Rebecca and somehow managed to turn green and make them scream in pain" I explained. "Are you saying that Jade has powers " he asked curious. I shook my head yes. "Apparently so. She started glowing green after she was growling and snapping at the containment cells. The next thing I knew both of them were screaming and had green goo coming from them. I grabbed her and ran inside to put her in my room before anyone saw her. I ran into my grandmother inside. She knew" I informed him. "Wow. That is weird" He answered
"Well back to my question, are you ok Zade? You know you do not have to be here for this" I told him offering him a way out. "Yes I do have to be here. I am a witness of the abuse she put you through, and also to verify the story about what she had told the pack. I cannot let my pack be held responsible for her lies and manipulation " He explained. "Have you talked to Alpha Jack" I asked worried about him as well. "Yes, he is on his way here too. I have not had a chance to tell you and I was going to kind of surprise you with him" Zade confessed. I was elated as I jumped up and down excited to see Alpha Jack again. "When will he be here" I asked quickly. "I'm already here" A voice said behind me. I nearly jumped out of my skin in shock. Zade, Gus, Brian,Nathan and Alpha Jack laughed hysterically as I hugged my old Alpha. "How are you Jenna, I mean Dream. Sorry. That is kind of hard to get used to." Alpha Jack confessed. "Tell us about it" Gus spoke up saying. "I take it that you are here for the trial" I said quietly. "That is not the only reason I am here. I wanted to come check on all of you. I had to make sure that you four were not causing a lot of problems or getting I to trouble." He said as he stared at the guys. "Who us? Get into trouble! As if" Brian answered for them.
"Well I see that the guys were able to sniff Dream out for you Jack" My father said as he and my mother came into the stables. "Oh I could have found her easily. She would always go to the stables to hide" Alpha Jack said before he realized what he had said. I could feel the anger building in everyone there, especially my parents. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to sound exactly like that. What I meant was .." He tried to say before I interrupted "It is ok Alpha Jack. They know as well as I do that none of what happened was your fault. No need to apologize for something you had no control of. But to clarify, yes whenever I need to think or want quiet time I do go into the closest stable I can find to be with the horses and pet them" I informed them, while thinking I needed to find a new comfort spot now since this one was blown. "It never was a secret Dream" Gus said looking at me. "Stop that. Stay out of my head" I fussed at him aggravated because I couldn't even have one private thought without someone reading my mind. I needed to find a way to block them but I wasnt quite sure how that worked yet.
