My mother walked over to my father, taking the box and opened it up. She pulled out this beautiful crowned headpiece. "This is yours Dream. It was my mother's, mine and now yours. You cant wear your crown until after your coronation." She handed it to my father who softly placed it on my head. I looked at the two of them who stood there with such pride and love for me, I couldn't help the tears that began to roll down my cheeks. "If we can't cry then neither can you young lady" my mother said wiping my tears with a tissue. "Thank you so much for everything. I love you mom and dad" I said as the tears poured now from everyone in the room as my parents hugged me tightly. "We love you too Dream" They both said together. I knew they did. They never stopped loving me even after all of the years I was gone.
I stepped back into the dressing room to remove the gown and get dressed. The designer took the gown to make sure it got cleaned and pressed for the wedding. He took my crown so that the veil could be attached to it. All of the jewelry and accessories were boxed up and taken with the dress. When I was finished I stepped back out, glad to be finished. We all met back up with Nathan and the others. Marcus reported that the warrior had a fall going down the dungeon stairs because he wouldn't stop trying to stare at him. we all just laughed. "Guess he got what he deserved then. You got to watch those stairs you know" I said shaking my head at him. "Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that Jessica and Kendall are asking for a break" Marcus informed me. "Those two have evidently been on an extended break so no. They can do as they were ordered" I told him. Marcus chuckled as he relayed the message. "Ok now can we go back to the pack house? I am exhausted and I want to check on Agatha and the rest of them. Plus I still have not seen Zillow and I miss the little guy" I asked. I was tired and my feet were hurting. plus we hadn't even gotten Aerie unpacked yet. "There is not really a need to unpack her things because they will just have to be repacked. Plus you all need to start packing. Your belongings will start being moved after the palace has been deep cleaned and the changes are finished." My mother told me by link. I hadn't even thought about that. "Have you thought about who you want as your next in charge, and your second" my father asked me. "Huh? Who?" I asked confused. "Basically it is your Beta and Gamma. Zade, Brian and Gus do not qualify because they are your protectors and Nathan won't because he will be the king" My father informed me. "Well then, that leaves Marcus as my next in charge, Aerie as my second then. Will that work?" I asked hopeful. "That will work as long as they both agree." He explained. I looked over at the two of them "Don't you even dare try to refuse" I warned them. They both laughed. "I wouldn't dare to even try" Marcus answered with Aerie agreeing. "Well that was easy enough. So now the two of you can handle all of the questions and the to do list that I'm sure these two have for me. I'm going to go see Agatha" I informed them laughing as I ran to the barn to check on the dragon. Nathan caught up after I was inside seeing Agatha. she looked so much stronger and so did her babies. All of the ones we rescued looked so much better already. "You have done a miraculous job doctors" I told the vets that were there. "They continue to amaze us everyday. The new housing facility for them will begin construction next week, so after that we should see an even bigger turnaround for them once they get back to as close to there natural habitat as possible" one of them explained. Zillow had even gotten bigger in the couple days I was gone. He was busy climbing all over me and Nathan happy to see us back. I gave him a treat. once the others saw that they too were just as busy climbing all over us looking for theirs as well. I laughed as I gave each of them a treat and then Agatha got a big treat. that she happily accepted. I yawned it had been a long day and now I wanted nothing but my bed. "Time for bed" I announced Nathan nodded. he was just as exhausted as I was.
