I lean back, my body absorbing the hot sun, hoping to elicit a suitbale tan and not a straight out sunburn, which always seems to happen to me. I eye the two bumbling fools with hearts of gold, Tommy and Dylan on the other side of the pool. Tommy doves first into the pool with Dylan on his tail. They both laugh and seem carefree, like nothing in the world can f!ck them up in any way. Decker sits beside me and chuckles to herself.
"Once sworn enemies turn best friends and almost like brothers. I swear you can't make this sh!t up." She says while sipping her iced tea.
