Riley "Will she be okay to go home today?" I hear my mother speaking to someone. I slowly open my eyes and come to realize that I am not in my bed, but somewhere else. I look around, white walls, big window, sun beaming in. I feel absolutely drained, like a train barreled over me. Last time I felt like this was when I was a kid and I had the flu. Worst week of my life. When I raise my arms, I see an IV attached to me. I try to sit up, failing miserably groaning in discomfort, allowing them to notice that I am awake and they both come rushing over to me. "Oh thank the heavens you are awake babygirl.
