As soon as we arrive home, Ri immediately drops her bag by the door and goes off into the living room, where my mom is sitting with the baby. Ri sits by them, and they discuss how everything went with him and all the cute moments they had together. Every chuckle, every giggle, every smile all being saved into our memory banks.
Ri takes him from her and starts smiling up a storm, kissing him all over and rocking him while thanking my mom for the millionth time for watching him. As Ri sits on the couch with him reciting baby talk, my mom moves to head towards the kitchen, and I take one last look at them before I follow her.
