The nerves in my body for the date I have with Jake cease to exist the moment I open the door and there he is holding a single rose in his hand. He made it his sole mission to impress me with how he looks right now. He is dressed completely casual and looking very much like how a model on the cover of GW would look. Right now, he is a spitting image of Ryan Gosling.
"Hey there gorgeous. A rose for the beauty." He says with a dashing smile.
"Thank you." I say softly
"You look beautiful Riley, you really do." His eyes full of such sincerity that my knees want to buckle.
"Looking not too bad yourself. You clean up well Jake. I'll be right back. Come in." I say as I run towards the kitchen to put the rose in a vase with some water.
