*Miranda’s POV* It was dark, so very dark. I opened my eyes but I couldn’t see, couldn’t scream as pitch black talons sank into me. The smell was that of rot and decay, the smell of death. Around me the only thing filling the void was screaming. So much screaming. It came from a distance but echoed all around me, bouncing off the cold as I blink my eyes into focus.
