“What are you staring at?” Stella asks from behind me, and I jump.
“Huh?” I mutter as I turn to her.
“You have been standing there for a while,” Stella smiles and looks across the water. “What has your attention?” She asks with a tilt of her head.
“I just like the ocean,” I lie to her. I look towards the Lycan Kingdom, and the fog has obscured it once again.
“I see,” Stella nods.
“Mommy,” Her younger son runs up to us. “Ethan won’t share his shovel.”
“Ethan,” Stella turns her attention to her children. “Excuse me,” She walks away as the two boys start throwing sand at each other.
I sigh, walk over to the lounge chairs, and lie down. Jenna is fast asleep on hers. I place my hand on my belly.
