My stomach is full of nerves and hunger as Austen takes my hand and leads me out of our room. His mother and sister linger in the hallway and smile as we walk past them. I am thankful for their help today. We had a lot of fun shopping today. We had some tacos, but I am starving.
‘I’m ravished,’ Genesis snickers.
‘Oh, you,’ I say and giggle out loud.
“What has you giggling?” Austen looks down at me.
“Nothing,” I say and press my lips shut.
“Mmm,” Austen smirks.
We reach the elevators and step on. Downstairs, Austen whisks me down the hall to the front of the palace, where the limo is waiting. The driver bows to us as he opens the door.
