It took a few seconds for Dean's head to stop spinning and for the ringing in his ears to fade. The whiplash he just experienced made some parts of his upper-torso ache, the seatbelt saving him from any actual injuries. The passenger's side of his car had crashed straight into a tree trunk. Claude was unconscious. He was unconscious and bleeding from his head. Dean snapped into attention, any lingering dizziness fading as he unbuckled his seatbelt to get closer to his boyfriend. "Claude?" Panic clogged up Dean's throat at the lack of response. It was difficult to keep his hands from shaking as he gently tilted Claude's head to see where the blood was coming from—a gash going into Claude's hairline from the window's broken glass. Claude still had a pulse. Relieving, but not good enough
