The shock had worn down, leaving the three of them slumping against the soft cushions on Claude's sofa. It was nearly midnight, and though they were all silent, it wasn't awkward. Phineas felt like this was more of an interlude, allowing them to individually collect their thoughts and process their emotions. Though Dean Axel kept subtly glancing at his phone, the action hadn't passed Claude's attentive eyes. "Dean," Claude called gently. "You should go back to the hospital, I know you're worried about not being there when Finn gets out of surgery."
