Finn knew their village like the back of his hand. He could probably make his way around with his eyes closed. That being said, having to ride carefully through the same dirt roads with his eyes peeled for any little movement in the shadows—alone—was harder than he'd expected. He's still a bit shaken up after going head-to-head with a vampire who legitimately seemed like he would kill Finn if he had had his way. That was the first time Finn experienced something that intense; so life-threatening it had been hard to breathe normally afterwards. He got a scratch on his neck from when the vampire had gotten a little too close, and try as Finn might, it was nearly impossible to just shake off how close he'd come to danger. It helped at least that his Pack members followed protocol strictly.
