Sure, there were people who stared for too long and even a few who had the gall to glare and scoff upon passing Claude and Dean whilst seeing them hold hands (maybe because they were both men, maybe because those people knew who they were). However unsettling that was, Claude hadn't let it destroy their evening like he might've done before. It was hard to focus on anything else when his date was taking up his entire attention.
