Pearl Flourice's day usually started with a morning workout. There's a corner in their living room dedicated to her exercise equipment.
Lina walked in on her doing her third rep of weighted sit-ups. "The heater's broken. I had to take my shower cold."
"You should've taken a shower at Mrs. Hill's, she wouldn't have minded. You're babysitting her kid, after all," Pearl said in between huffs of controlled breaths. Only five sit-ups left in this set.
Lina groaned. "I don't want to invade other people's homes just to take a warm shower. Can't you ask Finn if he could fix our heater?"
Pearl set aside her weights, sitting up in her already sweaty mat. She frowned at her mate. "I can take a look at the heater, I could probably fix it."
It's answered with a snort as Lina stretched out her hand
