Agreement reached

Celina pov. I was brought to Lambert. Lambert dismissed the others, leaving him and me in the room. "Are you looking for me?" I asked. Lambert didn't answer me but handed me a document. I took it curiously, and on the first page of the document was the very striking title: Indentured Luna Agreement. "Agreement? Luna?" I opened the document with confusion and saw some information. The first was that although I was Lambert's mate and the future Luna, everything was nominal, and I did not have any real power. Lambert would arrange for someone else to perform Luna's duties. Secondly, after I arrived at the Blue Moon pack, I could not go out casually. There's a lot more to the agreement, and it's all about restricting my behavior. Obviously, Lambert didn't like me much as a MATE, and just out of instinct, chose to bring me back to the Blue Moon pack. At this moment, I sensed that Sera was grieving. She was frustrated: "NO, this is too bad." "Don't you want me to sign?" I asked Sera. Sera said sadly, "You need to use this contract to save those poor girls." I was slightly surprised; I thought Sera was in a deep sleep and didn't know everything going on around us. I didn't expect that she knew it all. "What do you think?" I asked my wolf. Sera was silent for a moment before saying, "Accepting this contract means having to accept that we have to be with a MATE who won't love us at all. If it can save the girls of Silver Lake pack, I will agree." I didn't expect Sera, who was crazy about MATE, to say such sensible things at this moment. "Hey, Sera, you don't seem to be as much of a nymphomaniac as I thought." I couldn't help but tease her. Sera didn't answer me. I didn't continue to bother her either, not being truly accepted by MATE; my wolf must be painful as hell at that moment. "How do you think about it?" Lambert's voice, causing me to refocus my attention on him. I brewed in my mind for a moment and said, "I can sign this contract, but I also have conditions." "Tell me, please!" Lambert said. "First, the hunting game must be stopped immediately. Second, Blue Moon Pack must provide shelter and support for Silver Lake Pack to save my people from disaster." My tone was very firm. But in fact, I wasn't confident in my heart. Because Lambert gave me these contract conditions, there was only one point at the core: he did not trust my ability. He thought I couldn't serve as Luna of Blue Moon Pack, nor could I fulfill the duties of Luna. It‘s said that the telepathy between werewolf mates is fated and irresistible. But Lambert could put the interests of the Pack above the mate so sensibly when confronted with his mate. And the two requests I made, in fact, both conflict with the Viper Pack. The conflict would harm the interests of each pack. Lambert did not reply to me for a long time; my heartbeat unconsciously accelerated. I even thought the second one was my temporary addition; if he could not agree to the second, at least agree to the first one. I had to save those poor girls first! "How do you think about it?" I took the initiative to ask. "Are there any other requests?" Lambert said. "Ather requests? No!" I said. "I promise you," Lambert said. "What? Do you promise all of that? Oh my God!" I almost screamed with excitement. After realizing my outburst, I immediately apologized, "I'm sorry, I'm just too happy. Please have someone go and stop the hunting game immediately." "OK. I will arrange for someone to do this." Lambert replied. "Are you really going to help us? I need a more definite, affirmative answer. Add it to our contract." I said. This might sound a little strong, but I had to do it. After all, if I didn't get any proof, I couldn't even explain what I had done to get here. Even less could I tell everyone that Lambert had agreed? And in case Lambert backtracked, I had even less evidence to prove it all. "Fine." Lambert wrote down the promise on the paper. I got the papers and left immediately. Lambert pov: I couldn't refuse Celina to be my MATE. But I didn't trust her ability. To manage Pack better, I wrote a contract. I knew it would be a hurtful act to deprive Luna of some of her rights, so I would have decided that whatever Celina asked for, I would try to satisfy her. But I didn't expect the two requests she made were about the Silver Lake pack, and none of them was about herself. "Are there any other requests?" I hoped she would continue to make some requests. "Other requests? No!" she said. There was the only urgency in her eyes; she just wanted to save her Pack at that moment. She put the interests of the Pack in the forefront, much like me. I appreciated this characteristic of hers. Celina didn't seem to trust me, so she asked me to write it into the contract. Honestly, she was more intelligent and braver than I thought. Immediately after she left, I made plans for this operation of evicting Viperpack. Half an hour later, I took my subordinates and arrived at the hunting ground. "Proud Lambert, what are you doing here? Haven't you always loathed hunting games?" "So I now want you to stop this boring game and leave Silver Lake pack immediately!" I said. "Hahahahahaha ......" Bryant laughed as if I had told a hilarious joke. "Lambert, you are not qualified to order me!" Bryant was upset with me! This was the result I expected. So next, I waved my hand behind me. The warriors of Blue Moon Pack immediately surrounded Bryant. Bryant's face immediately showed a panicked expression, "Lambert, what do you want?" "I don't want to do anything! I just want to ask you and your subordinates to leave! Otherwise, you will die here!" I yelled at him. "We don't usually have any conflicts; why are you doing this? For that ridiculous MATE? Lambert, you'll regret it if you dare to do anything to me. The whole clan of Viperpack will not spare you!" He hissed angrily at me. "As far as I know, you have a twin brother. Would he be the happiest person if you die?" My words struck Bryant's pain. Bryant's twin brother was his biggest threat, and there's a deep conflict between them. I immediately continued, "I give you two choices; first, you and your men immediately leave this place! In the future, you are not allowed to bully anyone from Silver Lake Pack. Second, I will use your life to negotiate with your brother. I think he will be happy to cooperate with me." At this moment, Bryant was furious, but again he knew clearly that he was no match for me. And I had made ample preparation before coming. Eventually, Bryant chose the first one. He took his subordinates and left the Silver Lake pack. Soon, many Silver Lake Pack's clansmen outside the hunting ground came to wait for the girls inside. Viperpack's methods were indeed ruthless. Twenty poor girls died. Several of them had their internal organs leaking from their lower bodies; some girls were hung upside down from trees; some had poisonous snakes stuffed into their lower bodies ...... Most of the other girls who were lucky enough to survive were violated. Only the two fast girls were completely safe. The girls' parents were very desperate and grief-stricken. The sound of crying echoed throughout the hunting grounds, making everyone who heard it feel deeply grieved, including me. Perhaps that's why I put the Pack's interests at the forefront. If the pack is not strong enough and the alpha cannot protect the Pack, the people in the Pack will suffer tremendously. I will never allow this to happen to the Blue Moon Pack! I will keep my promise to guard it and make it strong along with the Blue Moon pack!
