Chapter Eighteen – YES YOU ARE
Cole sat on the end of my bed looking at me perplexed,
“Helena, please what is wrong baby girl?” he implored with me, I looked at him I could not say anything, it would just open up a can of worms, that I did not want to be opened
“s**t Helena, please for f**k sake talk to me” He begged his voice sounding lost and desperate.
“I don’t think I can Cole, you would never understand, and well I am probably just being stupid” I finally said, looking away wiping the tear that was running down my face.
“Try, please” he pleaded again
I sat up on the bed looked into his eyes and saw confusion and sadness, I cannot do that to him, not when he has been so kind these last couple of days, so I took a deep breath and sighed
