Chapter Twenty Three – Whispers and Giggles
Standing outside the main doors into the office, I was as nervous as a Kitten, fear and insecurity threatening to overwhelm me, s**t, today was going to be embarrassing, however, so long as my new friends new the truth, well, the met in Aldi version of the truth, that is all I would allow myself to care about.
Lesley was sat behind reception, her hair perfect, and her warm motherly smile welcomed me I was 15 minutes early into the office, deep breath to calm the fractious nervousness that was bubbling though my veins …here we go.
