Sydney 's POV
For a moment, there was silence as the realization of what just happened sunk in, then I broke out of my frozen state and ran toward the crash, my heart lodged in my throat, Aria howling frantically inside me.
There were already a number of humans gathered around the wreckage. Some called for emergency services while others uselessly brought out their phones to film the accident.
I dropped my bag and crouched beside what used to be Alexander's car. Inside, Alexander, his Beta Johnson were trapped upside down. Blood trickled down Alexander's temple.
"Alexander!" No matter how many times I screamed his name, he didn't open his eyes. "Alexander! Hang in there..." I looked around at the bystanders. "Somebody, help! These men need assistance now!"
