Bella's POV “Thanks,” I spat, my voice icy. I stayed curled up on the hospital bed, my back to Mom and Dad. Not a trace of gratitude, just a wolf’s snarl in my tone. “Are you done? You can leave now.” “B—” “Mum!” I spun, barely holding my anger in check. I could feel my wolf, Vesper, bristle in my mind, my pupils narrowing to a dangerous gold. “Just go!
