It was nearing midnight, and except for my brother and I, all the guests had left. Then again, we weren’t really guests anymore. We were family. Justin slept upstairs on the living room couch. Louie and Kelly were chatting softly close to the baby monitor, while Lorraine and Al talked with Lou and Vincent, probably of Lou’s future. Al had finally hired a full time employee at the store. The guy, Rob, was twenty-five years old, but a walking encyclopedia of music. He and Al got along well and Rob was slowly becoming part of the Knight circle, too.
