Chapter 16 I couldn’t find a parking space, so I circled the nearby streets for half an hour, until I finally found a spot four blocks north of Lei’s place. The walk helped me regain my composure and I decided I’d be lighthearted with him tonight. Enough of this dramatic perspective. That was not what Lei needed. At his door, I peeked into the living room window. Couldn’t see him. I knocked and waited, trying to keep my cool. The door opened and dressed in black, Lei stepped aside, silently inviting me in.
