I glanced over at the small boy sitting across from us. His eyes were glued to the plate in front of him as Grant started pouring a generous amount of syrup all over the pancake he had asked for.
I swear it's like Sammy had never even seen one before..the sight made my heart ache because I knew that look all too well.
Ray came over last night to get the sample for Sammy's DNA test and we are now waiting anxiously for the results. Usually, they said it would take 3-5 days to go through..but since Rober Sinclair had many friends in the medical field, it would be ready sometime today.
